Welcome to Reel Appeal!

Welcome to the new website for Wivenhoe Reel Appeal, the community based project to develop cinema film and related arts in Wivenhoe. By now you will probably know that after taking professional advice we have withdrawn our offer to buy the St Johns Ambulance hall on Chapel Street as a potential cinema.  The building would have required too much expensive work to soundproof it and renovate it properly. We are continuing to seek a suitable permanent base as a local cinema but in the short term...
